Be Star-Strucked ☆゚.*・。゚

New Zealand’s Lake Tekapo is known as a Dark Sky Reserve, one of the best places to view the night sky .
It is free of artificial light pollution so the night sky is a canvas for star-gazing. On top of Mt John is an observatory where the Southern Sky is waiting for you to be explored. Dark Sky Project conducts twilight tours where you can view through their powerful telescope and see planet Saturn and the Southern Cross constellation. You’ll get a nice treat of hot chocolate at the cafe with some lessons on astronomy.
Nearest place to park your motorhome for the night : Lakes Edge Holiday Park
