There’s no monkey business in Monkey Mia, but maybe…. a fishy one.
Monkey Mia, located in Shark Bay World Heritage Area, Western Australia, is the only place in the world where dolphins come to the shoreline daily. Under the supervision of DEC rangers(Department of Environment and Conservation), you can feed these bottlenose dolphins between 8am to 12 noon.
Make a stopover at Shell beach too, it’s worth it.
Shark Bay is 850km from Perth and 420k from Geraldton. Nearest powered site for campervan is at Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort or more at Denham 24km away.
