Be Star-Strucked ☆゚.*・。゚

New Zealand’s Lake Tekapo is known as a Dark Sky Reserve, one of the best places to view the night sky .
It is free of artificial light pollution so the night sky is a canvas for star-gazing. On top of Mt John is an observatory where the Southern Sky is waiting for you to be explored. Earth & Sky conducts twilight tours where you can view through their powerful telescope and see planet Saturn and the Southern Cross constellation. You’ll get a nice treat of hot chocolate at the cafe with some lessons on astronomy.
Nearest place to park your motorhome for the night : Lake Tekapo Motels & Holiday Park
